Carbonaceous materials used in the determination of aluminum in the clay charcoal ash content
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determination of carbon in ash content of clay.
This standard applies to the determination of carbon in ash content of clay.
2 Method summary
The sample was heated at a constant speed to 850 ℃ ± 10 ℃, burning ash to constant quality, the remaining residue (ie, ash) calculated mass
Ash content.
3 Instrument
3.1 porcelain Ark. porcelain, rectangular, measuring not less than 60mm × 25mm × 16mm.
3.2 dryer. built-in desiccant.
3.3 Balance. a sense of the amount of 0.0001g.
3.4 muffle furnace. temperature controlled at 850 ℃ ± 10 ℃.
4 Sample
Sampling should sufficiently stirred, sealed in containers, were detected and analyzed within 48h.
Step 5 Analysis
5.1 Determination of the number of
It was assayed in parallel.
5.2 Determination
5.2.1 The porcelain Ark (3.1) placed in 850 ℃ ± 10 ℃ muffle furnace burning 1h, removed, placed in a desiccator (3.2) to cool and weigh,
Accurate to 0.0001g; repeated burning, weighed to constant weight (m1).
5.2.2 Weigh 1.0000g sample, accurate to 0.0001g (m0), placed in constant weight porcelain Ark (5.2.1), and placed in the furnace about
Muffle furnace of 200 ℃ (3.4) oven door, the door opens, the furnace temperature was slowly (at least with 30min) rose to 500 ℃, run slowly smoke, not fire,
Otherwise, the test results invalid. When the sample ashing to most of the volatiles were evaporated, the porcelain Ark pushed into the furnace temperature zone, the door slightly open, continue to rise
Temperature to 850 ℃ ± 10 ℃, at this temperature burning 1h.
5.2.3 Remove from the oven and porcelain ark, exposed to air cooling 3min ~ 5min, and then into the dryer to cool to room temperature and weigh to the nearest
0.0001g; repeated burning to constant weight (m2).
The measurement results of the calculation 6
According to formula (1) calculation of the ash content the ash w.
