This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
Instead of the standard YS/T 72-2005 "cadmium ingots." Compared with YS/T 72-2005, this standard main changes are as follows.
--- Cd99.995 grades impurities Fe, Cu cap made changes, Fe is not more than 0.0010 percent by the modification of not more than 0.0008 percent,
Cu by the modification of not more than 0.0007% to not more than 0.0005%;
--- Increasing the unit weight of 350kg ± 50kg cadmium ingots billets and related requirements;
--- Increased cadmium ingots billets packaging requirements.
This revised standard adopts ASTMB440-2012 "cadmium technical requirements." Compared with ASTMB440-2012, not specified impurity elements
Su Hg limited, other indicators are at or close to its requirement.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for cadmium ingots, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (or order
Manifest) content.
This standard applies to fire, electrolysis refining production of cadmium ingots. Mainly for alloys, electroplating, batteries, chemical and other industries.

3 Requirements
3.1 Categories
Cadmium ingots chemical composition divided into three grades. Cd99.995, Cd99.99, Cd99.95.
3.2 Chemical composition
Cadmium ingots chemical composition shall be in accordance with Table 1.

3.3 Physical Specifications
Cadmium Ingot by singlet divided into two, one for 5kg ~ 8kg small ingots, one for the 350kg ± 50kg large ingots. Small rectangular ingot shape ladder
