Nickel-based alloy powder chemical analysis
Part 4. Determination of chromium content
Ammonium persulfate oxidation titration
1 Scope
YS/T 539 This part specifies the method for determination of nickel-base alloy powder chromium.
This section applies to the determination of chromium in nickel-base alloy powder (without vanadium) content measurement range. 2% to 30%.
2 Method summary
The sample is dissolved in acid in sulfuric acid - phosphoric acid, silver nitrate as a catalyst, ammonium persulfate to Cr (Ⅲ) oxidized to Cr (Ⅵ), sulfur
Ferrous ammonium acid solution was titrated.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 hydrochloride (ρ1.19g/mL).
Nitrate 3.2 (ρ1.42g/mL).
3.3 Hydrofluoric acid (ρ1.15g/mL).
3.4 phosphoric acid (ρ1.67g/mL).
3.5 sulfate (1 + 1).
3.6 silver nitrate solution (10g/L). Weigh 1g silver nitrate dissolved in water, a few drops of nitric acid (3.2) and diluted with water to 100mL, mix,
Store in a brown bottle.
3.7 solution of ammonium persulfate (250g/L), the time is now equipped with.
3.8 manganese sulfate solution (5g/L).
3.9 sodium chloride solution (50g/L).
3.10 diphenylamine solution of sodium (2g/L).
3.11 N- benzene-generation anthranilic acid solution (2g/L). Weigh 0.2gN- benzene on behalf of anthranilic acid aqueous solution of sodium carbonate dissolved in 100mL
(2g/L), and dissolved by heating.
3.12 potassium dichromate standard solution. Weigh 5.6582g baseline potassium dichromate (previously after 105 ℃ drying 1h, placed in a desiccator, cooled
To room temperature) was placed in 300mL beaker, dissolved in water and transferred to 2000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL
Chromium containing 1mg.
3.13 ammonium ferrous sulfate standard titration solution
3.13.1 preparation. Weigh 10g ferrous ammonium sulfate, adding the right amount of water and 100mL of sulfuric acid (3.5) dissolved and transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask,
Dilute with water to volume, and mix.
3.13.2 Calibration. Pipette 25.00mL potassium dichromate standard solution (3.12) 3 parts, were placed in 500mL beaker, add 4mL phosphorus
Acid (3.4), 30mL sulfuric acid (3.5), dilute with water to 200mL. Ferrous ammonium sulfate standard titration solution (3.13) titration until the solution pale
Yellow, add 3 drops of benzene on behalf of N- anthranilic acid solution (3.11) and continue titration to the solution from red to bright green rose as the end point. 3 parts of chromium
Ferrous ammonium sulfate standard titration solution (3.13) standard solution consumed does not exceed the difference between the volume of 0.05mL, averaged.
According to formula (1) calculate the standard ferrous ammonium sulfate titration solution titer of chromium.
