Nickel-based alloy powder chemical analysis
Part 2. Determination of aluminum content
Chromium Azure S Spectrophotometry
1 Scope
This section YS/T 539 specifies the method for determination of nickel-base alloy powder aluminum content.
This section applies to the determination of nickel-base alloy powder aluminum content measurement range. from 0.05% to 1%.
2 Method summary
The sample is dissolved by mixed acid, at a pH of 5.3 to 5.9 acid medium, aluminum and chrome azure S generated purple complex, standard plus
Into law at a wavelength of 545nm spectrophotometer measured absorbance. Containing 100μg vanadium in color solution, 2mg chromium, did not interfere;
Iron, nickel interference masking available Zn-EDTA, 300μg titanium available 0.15g mannitol masking.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 hydrochloride (ρ1.19g/mL).
Nitrate 3.2 (ρ1.42g/mL).
3.3 perchloric acid (ρ1.67g/mL).
3.4 Hydrofluoric acid (ρ1.15g/mL).
3.5 Ammonia (ρ0.90g/mL).
3.6 HCl (1 + 1).
3.7 hydrochloric acid (1 + 10).
Ammonia 3.8 (1 + 5).
3.9 mannitol solution (50g/L).
3.10 acetic acid - sodium acetate buffer solution. Take 60g of anhydrous sodium acetate in a beaker, 300mL of water and 4.25mL glacial acetic acid solution was heated
Solutions to clear, diluted with water to 500mL.
3.11 ammonium fluoride solution (5g/L), stored in a plastic bottle.
3.12 ascorbic acid solution (50g/L), the time is now equipped with.
3.13 Chromium Azure S solution (0.5g/L).
3.14 Zn-EDTA (Zn - disodium ethylenediamine tetraacetate) solution. Weigh 8.1g of zinc oxide in a beaker, was added 40mL of hydrochloric acid (3.6), plus
Heat to dissolve. Another weighed 37.2g disodium ethylenediamine tetraacetate (EDTA) was dissolved in 800mL of water, aqueous ammonia added 15mL (3.5), both solutions
Merge, mix, adjusting the solution to pH 4-6 with aqueous ammonia (3.8) and hydrochloric acid (3.6), diluted with water to 1L, and mix.
3.15 nickel substrate solution. Weigh 1.00g of pure nickel (Ni≥99.99%) placed in 300mL beaker, 20mL dissolved in nitric acid (1 + 3),
Transferred to 100mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 10mg nickel.
3.16 aluminum standard stock solution. Weigh 1.0000g pure aluminum (Al≥99.99%) placed in 200mL plastic cup, add 10mL hydroxide
Sodium solution (200g/L), dissolved by heating on a water bath, add water, 100mL, was added dropwise hydrochloric acid (3.6) until the solution was acidic after 10mL excess cold
However, moved into 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. 1mL solution containing 1mg aluminum.
