1 Scope
YS/T 539 This part specifies the method for determination of nickel-base alloy powder molybdenum content.
This section applies to the determination of nickel base alloy powder of molybdenum content in the measurement range. 0.5% to 5%.
2 Method summary
Sample in acid dissolved in sulfuric acid medium with ascorbic acid reducing pentavalent molybdenum, molybdenum with thiocyanate generated orange-red complex in
470nm wavelength spectrophotometer measured absorbance.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 hydrochloride (ρ1.19g/mL).
Nitrate 3.2 (ρ1.42g/mL).
3.3 Hydrofluoric acid (ρ1.15g/mL).
3.4 sulfate (1 + 1).
3.5 phosphoric acid (1 + 1).
3.6 ammonium thiocyanate solution (100g/L).
3.7 ascorbic acid solution (100g/L), the time is now equipped with.
