Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces YS/T 402-1994 "Zirconia". Compared with YS/T 402-1994, the main changes are as follows.
The chemical composition of the product increases the requirements of B, Ca, Co, Cd, Mg and Th;
--- increase the burning reduction and particle size detection method;
--- refinement of the logo, packaging, transportation and storage;
- to supplement the requirements of the contract (or order).
This standard is proposed by the National Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals (SAC/TC243).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, shipping, storage, quality certificates and contracts for zirconia
(Or order) content.
This standard is applicable to zirconium dioxide prepared by the separation of zirconium dioxide, can be used for the preparation of atomic level sponge zirconium, zirconium and zirconium alloy additives.

Products according to the chemical composition is divided into ZrO2-01, ZrO2-02 two grades.
3.2 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of the product shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. If there is a special requirement for the chemical composition of the product, it shall be agreed upon by both parties.
