This part of the replacement of YS/T 358-1994 "tantalum iron, niobium iron concentrate chemical analysis method" (formerly YB874-76) Part II "tantalum, niobium
Determination of the amount of paper (paper color layer weight method) ".
The main changes in this part compared with the second part of YS/T 358-1994 are as follows.
--- sample decomposition from alkali to hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid microwave digestion;
--- gives the lower limit of detection;
--- increase the precision terms;
--- The text format has been modified to increase the quality assurance and control terms.

Chemical analysis of tantalum iron and niobium iron concentrates
Part 1. determination of tantalum and niobium content
Paper color gravimetric method
1 Scope
This method specifies the determination method of tantalum and niobium content in tantalum iron and niobium iron concentrate.
This method is suitable for the determination of tantalum and niobium in tantalum iron and niobium iron concentrate. The measurement range is 5.00% ~ 60.00%.
2 method summary
The samples were separated by hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid microwave digestion, and chromatographic separation was carried out with methyl isobutyl ketone-butanone-hydrofluoric acid-nitric acid as developing solvent,
And then cut off tantalum, niobium ribbon, ashes burned weighing. Calculate the amount of tantalum and niobium.
3 reagent
3.1 hydrofluoric acid (ρ1.14g/mL).
3.2 nitric acid (ρ1.42g/mL).
3.3 Butanone (ρ 0.92g/mL).
3.4 tannin solution (50g/L).
3.5 Development agent. methyl isobutyl ketone, butanone, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid to volume ratio of 44.44.8. 4 mixed evenly.
3.6 color layer paper. 3 color layer paper, cut into 22cm × 28cm, ammonium nitrate solution (100g/L) soaking the entire length of two-thirds,
Slightly dry spare.
3.7 ammonia neutralizer. with a large dryer, sieve below the storage of concentrated ammonia (ρ0.88g/mL).
4 instruments
Microwave digestion.
5 samples
5.1 Specimen size less than 0.074mm.
5.2 samples in 105 ℃ ~ 110 ℃ pre-bake 2h, placed in a dryer to cool to room temperature.
6 Analysis steps
6.1 samples
Weigh 0.10g sample (5), accurate to 0.0001g.
