Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
Instead of the standard YS/T 298-2007 "high titanium slag", compared with the present standard YS/T 298-2007 main changes are as follows.
--- High titanium slag grades from four to seven; for CaO, MgO content of the claim, respectively, an increase of Cr2O3, V2O5,
SiO2, Al2O3 content requirements;
--- Modify the product size;
--- Increasing the moisture content of the product and test methods;
--- Modify the inspection and acceptance;
--- Modify the group batches.
This standard by the national non-ferrous metals Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC243) and focal points.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements of high titanium slag, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates and orders
(Or contract) content.
This standard applies to ilmenite as raw material for the production of electric furnace smelting titanium tetrachloride, synthetic rutile and titanium dioxide used in high
Titanium slag.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

High titanium slag hightitaniumslag
Means ilmenite smelting furnace through the enrichment process after a high titanium-containing mineral raw materials, TiO2 content of not less than 85%.
4 Requirements
Grade 4.1
Product chemical composition is divided into seven grades. TZ94, TZ92-1, TZ92-2, TZ90-1, TZ90-2, TZ85-1, TZ85-2.
4.2 Chemical composition
Chemical composition of the product shall comply with the requirements in Table 1.
