Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
Instead of the standard YS/T 264-1994 "high-purity indium." This standard YS/T 264-1994 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- Expanding the scope of high-purity indium;
--- Remove the range to 99.999% high-purity indium as raw material, electrolytic refining process to obtain high purity of 99.9999% indium;
--- The In-05 grades of high-purity indium chemical composition of Sn content increased from 1.5 × 10-6 to now 1.0 × 10-6;
--- Increasing the calculation method of high-purity indium content, ingot weight requirements and ordering contents of a contract;
--- The sampling methods into production sample of sampling and sample preparation and sample Arbitration sampling and sample preparation;
--- Revised test methods and test results to determine deleted Appendix A.
This standard by the national non-ferrous metals Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC243) centralized.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for high-purity indium, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (or
Orders) content.
This standard applies to industrial crude indium as raw material, raw material processing and electrolytic refining process to obtain high purity indium. Products for the production of compound
Semiconductor, high-purity alloys, advanced bearing material and semiconductor doping agents.

3 Requirements
3.1 Categories
High-purity indium according to their chemical composition, are divided into two grades. In-05, In-06.
3.2 Chemical composition
Chemical composition of high purity indium 3.2.1 shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.

3.2.2 High-purity indium content is 100% minus the sum of impurities found in the table margin.

3.3 appearance quality
Silvery white. The surface should be bright, smooth, no inclusions, flash, burrs, shrinkage, oxide film and dirt.
3.4 ingot shape and weight
A rectangular or elongated spindle-shaped ingot supply, ingot weight 100g ± 10g, 200g ± 5g.
