1 Scope
This section YS/T 227 specifies the method for determination of tellurium in iron content.
This section applies to the determination of iron content in tellurium. Measurement range. 0.0005% to 0.006%.
2 principle of the method
Samples with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid dissolved in hydrochloric acid medium, sulfite reduction tellurite to tellurium acid precipitation to remove the matrix, iron and phenanthroline formed
Colored complex in a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 510nm absorbance measurement of iron. Calculate the amount of iron by standard curve method.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as an analytical reagent and water. Are used in the test vessel with dilute aqua regia (11)
After soaking, wash thoroughly with a water.
Nitrate 3.1 (ρ1.42g/mL), ultra-pure.
3.2 hydrochloride (ρ1.19g/mL), ultra-pure.
3.3 Ammonia (ρ0.90g/mL), ultra-pure.
3.4 sulfurous acid (sulfur dioxide containing not less than 6.0%).
3.5 hydrochloride (11).
3.6 Disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate solution (100g/L).
3.7 tartaric acid solution (200g/L).
3.8 hydroxylamine hydrochloride solution (100g/L).
3.9 phenanthroline solution (5g/L). Weigh 0.50g phen, was dissolved in 20mL of ethanol, diluted with water to 100mL.
3.10 iron standard stock solution. Weigh 0.1000g iron (≥99.95%), placed in 100mL beaker, add 10mL of hydrochloric acid (3.2),
1mL of nitric acid (3.1), the solution was heated to boil, get rid of nitrogen oxides, is removed, cooled to room temperature, transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask, washed with water
Dilute to the mark. This solution 1mL containing 100μg iron.
3.11 Iron standard solution. Pipette 10.00mL iron standard stock solution (3.10), placed in 200mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark,
Shake well. This solution 1mL containing 5μg iron.
