This standard specifies the requirements for metal injection molding of high density tungsten alloy pellets, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage

3.1 Categories
Tungsten heavy alloy pellets according to chemical composition divided into W-Ni-Cu alloy and W-Ni-Fe alloy in both categories, a total of eight models, respectively
HQ152, HQ173, HQ221, HQ231, HQ232, HQ243, HQ263, HQ273.
3.2 Model presentation rules
3.2.1 Tungsten alloy pellets models of representation rules

The first digit indicates the category (1 represents the W-Ni-Cu alloy;
2 represents a W-Ni-Fe alloy); second digit indicates the name of Ni content;
The third digit in the name of the content of Fe or Cu
3.2.2 Model designation Example
Example 1: High density tungsten alloy pellets of tungsten nickel-copper alloy, on behalf of the nickel content is 5%, the nominal copper content of 2%, expressed as a model HQ152.
Example 2: High density tungsten alloy pellets tungsten nickel-iron alloy, on behalf of the nickel content of 2% nominal iron content of 1%, expressed as a model HQ221.
3.3 Supply Status
