Summary
This standard specifies a system reference model configuration and protocol stack for a passive optical network with a single channel transmission rate of gigabit ratio based on wavelength tunable mode dense wavelength division multiplexing. OLT and ONU colorless light sources, physical layer requirements, Business carrying capacity and performance indicators, business interface type, system functions, operation and maintenance management and equipment, electrical safety and other requirements. This standard is applicable to optical access systems based on wavelength-tunable, dense wavelength division multiplexing.
