1 Scope

This document specifies the principle, test system, test steps and other requirements for measuring cigarette ash using computer vision. Method for determining color, crack rate, ash shrinkage rate, carbon line width and carbon line uniformity. This document applies to the determination of cigarette ash.

3 Terms and definitions
