Commercial vehicle air exposure test evaluation method
1 Scope
This standard specifies the general rules for the aging rating of commercial vehicle air exposure tests, including paint coated parts, plastic parts, rubber parts, textiles
Individual aging rating methods for 7 categories of parts, leather parts, coated parts and uncoated metal parts, and the aging grade evaluation of the whole vehicle
method.
This standard applies to the atmospheric exposure test of commercial vehicles and is used to guide the atmospheric aging evaluation of the entire commercial vehicle.
2 Normative references
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated reference documents, only the dated version applies to this document.
For undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.
GB/T 250 Gray Scale for Color Fastness Test Evaluation
GB/T 1766 Paint and varnish coating aging rating method
GB/T 9754 Paints and varnishes Determination of 20°, 60° and 85° specular gloss of paint coatings without metallic pigments
GB/T 11186 Coating film color measurement method third part color difference calculation
QC/T 728 Vehicle atmospheric exposure test method
3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Exposure test sample
Used for parts exposed to natural weather.
3.2
Standard sample
Refers to storage under a constant temperature and humidity environment as a benchmark reference part for comparative evaluation in the exposure test.
3.3
Parallel plate
The paint template with the same material, paint material and paint process as the parts is used to replace the zeros that cannot measure various parameters of the paint.
The components are subjected to an exposure test.
4 Test and evaluation principles
Measure (or visually) the various parameters and surface conditions of the test sample before the test, and record the initial data and status. At the same time prepare the corresponding standard
The quasi-samples are stored in an environment under specific conditions and used for state comparison with the test samples after the test. For the gloss,
Irregular paint test samples with chromatic aberration and other properties are replaced by parallel samples. Test sample (parallel sample) in accordance with QC/T 728
The test method is to test, and the test period is determined by each unit. After the test, compare the sample sample with the standard sample, and make parallel samples
The paint parameters of the board are compared with the initial data of the parallel model before the test. Perform aging evaluation based on measurement data or phenomena.
5 Division of vehicle aging evaluation
Investigate and count the customer's attention to each part of the vehicle, and set four points A, B, C and D according to the customer's attention to each part of the vehicle.
Areas, the parts with high attention and high aging intensity are included in Area A, and then divided in order. Refer to Table 1 for the division table of aging areas for the whole vehicle, and refer to Appendix B.1 for the division method.
6 Parts ageing rating
Vehicle parts are divided into 7 categories. paint parts, plastic parts, rubber parts, fabric parts, leather parts, coated parts and uncoated metal parts.
6.1 Aging rating of painted parts
Refer to GB/T 1766 for the gloss, color difference, chalking, cracking, blistering, contamination and corrosion of the test sample (parallel sample) and
Before the test, the data is compared to obtain the individual paint aging performance rating, and then the individual paint aging ratings are comprehensively evaluated to obtain the comprehensive aging grade of the paint.
The degree of gloss loss is measured according to GB/T 9754.The paint of the cab and exterior parts is measured at a 20° angle, and the chassis paint is measured at a 60° angle.
See Table 2 for the degree of loss of light and the level of loss of light.
6.2 Aging rating of plastic parts
Compare the discoloration, chalking, material precipitation, mold growth, deformation and stickiness of the plastic parts with the data before the test to obtain a single plastic
Parts aging performance rating, and then comprehensive evaluation of each individual aging rating to obtain the comprehensive aging grade of plastic parts.
The evaluation of the discoloration grade is based on the standard GB 250, and the discoloration grade table of plastic parts is shown in Table 15.
