Summary
This standard specifies requirements for pipeline installation for destructive testing of welded joints Acceptance requirements and radiation detection, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing and penetration testing and acceptance requirements. This standard applies to the use of carbon steel, low alloy steel pipe and pipe fittings, transportation of crude oil, refined oil and gas and other media, long-distance pipelines, compressor stations and pumping pipe welded pipe network installation. The applicable type of butt joints welded joints, corner joints and lap joints. Suitable welding method for the SMAW, SAW, melting polar and non- melting polar gas shielded arc welding, flux-cored self-shielded welding, gas welding and flash butt welding, as well as a combination of the above methods between the welding method.
