1 Scope
This standard specifies the mechanical safety performance test methods for accessories on imported and exported baby and child textile products, mainly including bite force test, torsion force
Test, tensile test, washing test, sharp edge, sharp tip test method.
This standard applies to import and export infant and child textile products with metal, textile, plastic and other material accessories.

4 Test conditions
4.1 Environmental requirements
The standard atmosphere for humidity control and test shall be implemented in accordance with the regulations of GB/T 6529.
4.2 Sample requirements

5 Bite force test
5.1 Principle

5.4 Test procedure
5.4.1 Put the accessories on the sample into the upper and lower pressing plates of the bite force tester at an appropriate position, and put them in a depth of 6.35 mm ~

6 Torque test
6.1 Principle
Use a suitable torque clamp to fix the accessory, use the torque loading device to apply a certain torque to the accessory clockwise and counterclockwise, and

6.2 Sample
Any attachments on the specimen that may be grasped by a child's thumb and index finger or bitten by their teeth shall be subjected to this test.
6.3 Instruments and equipment
6.3.1 Torque meter or torque wrench. graduation value ≤ 0.01 N·m.
6.3.2 Clamping device. a torque clamp or a torque test fixture that can firmly clamp the accessories.
6.3.1 Timer. division value ≤ 0.1 s.
6.4 Test procedure
6.4.1 Fix the sample in a reasonable test position, and clamp the accessory with a torque pliers or a torque test fixture.
6.4.2 Use a torque meter or torque wrench to apply (0.45±0.02) N·m of torque in a clockwise direction within 5 s to the original position of the accessory
Turn through 180° or reach the specified torque.
6.4.3 After the torque is maintained for 10 s, the torque is removed, and the test accessories return to a relaxed state.
6.4.4 Repeat the above process counterclockwise.
6.4.5 After the load is removed, check and record the attachment status. The accessories fall off, the accessories are damaged, or the fabric is damaged or broken in the following situations.

6.4.6 Test other accessories to be tested on the sample according to the above steps.
6.4.7 If the test accessory falls off, causing other accessible parts on the specimen that may be clamped to be exposed, the part should be removed.

7 Tensile test
7.1 Principle
Clamp the sample and the accessories separately with a suitable clamp, stretch it to a certain load with a tensile tester, and continue for a certain period of time to evaluate

7.3 Equipment

7.4 Test procedure

View and record the attachment status. It is unqualified when the accessories fall off, the accessories are damaged, or the fabric is damaged, broken, or torn in the following situations.
--The accessory falls off the sample;
--The accessory is damaged;
-Fabric damage, breakage, tearing, etc.;
--The attachment has not fallen off.
7.4.4 Follow the above steps to test other accessories to be tested on the sample.
8 Washing test
8.1 Principle
Wash the sample in a washing machine according to a specific procedure, and evaluate the changes in the accessories on the sample after washing.
8.2 Sample
For accessories with a size ≤ 3 mm or unable to be clamped on the sample, evaluate the change of the accessories after washing.
8.3 Equipment
Washing machine. Comply with the regulations of Type A washing machine in GB/T 8629.
8.4 Test procedure
Follow steps A.4.2 in Appendix A of GB 31701-2015.
9 Sharp edge test
9.1 Principle
Stick the test tape on the mandrel of the sharp edge tester as required, and make the mandrel along the touchable edge to be tested under a certain load
