1 Scope

This part of SN/T 3896 specifies a method for the rapid determination of the fiber content of a mixture of polyester fibers and wool by near-infrared spectroscopy. This section applies to the rapid determination of the fiber content of a blend fabric with a uniform distribution of polyester fibers and wool fibers. The content ranges from 10.0% to 80.0%.
