Foreword
SN/T 3083 The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) is divided into three parts.
--- Part 1. Definitions and abbreviations;
--- Part 2. Intelligibility test methods for tags and SDS;
--- Part 3. Guidelines for the preparation of safety data sheets.
This part is the third part of SN/T 3083.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part of the revision adopts 1.5 of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (Third Revision).
This section has the following structural and editorial changes.
--- Added two chapters "Scope" and "Acronyms";
--- Change the third chapter of the original text into an introduction;
--- Change the fourth chapter of the original text to 5.1;
---The dosage unit was changed to the legal dosage unit in China;
--- Removed the footnote.
This part is proposed and managed by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration.

Introduction
The SDS should provide comprehensive information about the substance or mixture for use within the workplace chemical control management framework.
Managers and users can learn about the hazard information of chemicals including environmental hazards and understand the relevant safety precautions. This
This information can be used as a reference for the management of hazardous chemicals in the workplace. Safety Data Sheets generally do not provide any specific field for the final use of the product.
Specific information, but if the product has a specific purpose, the information on the SDS may be more site specific. Therefore, security
The information on the data sheet can help to develop user protection measures, including training for specific workplaces and measures to protect the environment.
Shi. In addition, the SDS also provides important information for other target groups in the GHS, such as those involved in the transport of dangerous goods, first aid people.
Members, people and consumers involved in the professional use of pesticides.

3 General guidelines for the preparation of safety data sheets
3.1 Conditions for preparing a safety data sheet
Substances and mixtures that meet the physical, health and environmental hazard standards of GHS, containing concentrations exceeding the safety data sheet
A mixture of all concentrations of carcinogenic, reproductive toxicity or specific target organ toxic components. Did not reach the dangerous category but contained a certain concentration
Safety data sheets should also be prepared for mixtures of hazardous components.
3.2 Threshold/concentration limit
3.2.1 A safety data sheet shall be provided in accordance with the threshold/concentration limits shown in Table 1.
Table 1 Threshold/concentration limits for each health hazard
Hazard category threshold/concentration limit
Acute toxicity ≥1.0%
Skin corrosion/irritation ≥1.0%
Serious eye damage/eye irritation ≥ 1.0%
Respiratory/skin sensitization ≥ 0.1%
Germ cell mutation. Class 1 ≥ 0.1%
Germ cell mutation. 2 classes ≥ 0.1%
Carcinogenic ≥0.1%
Reproductive toxicity ≥0.1%
Specific target organ toxicity (single exposure) ≥1.0%
Specific target organ toxicity (repeated exposure) ≥1.0%
Aspiration hazard (Class 1) Class 1 ingredients ≥10%, and kinematic viscosity at 40 °C ≤ 20.5mm2/s
Aspiration hazard (category 2) Class 2 ingredients ≥10%, and kinematic viscosity at 40 °C ≤14mm2/s
Harmful aquatic environment ≥1.0%
