Foreword

This part is the fourth part of SN/T 2005. Appendix A and Appendix B of this section are informative annexes. This part is proposed and managed by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration. This part is drafted by the Jiangsu Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. The main drafters of this section. Gu Gaolang, Lu Zhengqing, Zhu Weijuan, Yuan Ronggen, Ye Chunyan. This section is the first industry standard for entry-exit inspection and quarantine. Polybrominated biphenyls in electrical and electronic products And determination of polybrominated diphenyl ethers Part 4. Gas Chromatography/Electron Capture Detector Method

1 Scope

This section specifies gas chromatography/electron capture detectors (GC/ECD) for polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in electrical and electronic products. Method. This section applies to the determination of polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in electrical and electronic products.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this section. 2.1 The structural formula of polybrominated biphenyl is shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 Structure of polybrominated biphenyl There are a total of 209 isomers of polybrominated biphenyls depending on the number and position of bromine atoms on the benzene ring. 2.2 The structural formula of PBDE is shown in Figure 2. Figure 2 Structure of polybrominated diether There are a total of 209 isomers of PBDEs depending on the number and position of bromine atoms on the benzene ring.

3 Method summary

The sample was extracted by Soxhlet using toluene as the extraction solvent. The extract was purified, separated by silica gel column, concentrated, and processed by GC/ECD. Line analysis.

4 reagents and materials

4.1 Toluene. chromatographically pure.
