3 Entry quarantine
3.1 Quarantine basis

3.2 Isolation site license
Inbound breeding pigs should be quarantined at the designated isolation site. If the national isolation field cannot be arranged for special reasons, it shall be examined by direct inspection.
After the epidemic organization has submitted the consent of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, it shall refer to the requirements of the Measures for the Administration of Isolation and Quarantine of Entry and Exit Animals.
The isolation field will be assessed and the results of the assessment will be reported to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the State for approval by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

3.3 Quarantine approval
3.3.1 The State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine is in charge of and is responsible for the examination and approval and issuance of quarantine permits for inbound pigs.
3.3.2 The owner or his agent shall submit a Business License and Qualification for the Application for the Entry Animal and Plant Quarantine Permit (hereinafter referred to as the “License”).
