1 Scope
This standard specifies the operational technical requirements for the micro-complement binding test for mababes.
This standard applies to the serological diagnosis of equine animal schistosomiasis.

3 reagents and materials
3.1 Reagents
3.1.1 The distilled water used for the test is the tertiary water in GB/T 6682.
3.1.2 Diluent. normal saline.
3.1.3 Complement-binding antigen. Use according to the instructions and shake well before use.
3.1.4 Standard positive serum. Dissolve to the specified volume with distilled water before use.
3.1.5 Standard negative serum. Dissolve to the specified volume with distilled water before use.
3.1.6 Hemolysin. Dissolve to a specified volume with distilled water before use.
3.1.7 Complement. Dissolve to the specified volume with distilled water before use.
3.1.8 Whole blood of sheep. Choose healthy adult sheep, collect blood from sterile neck vein, add 1.2 parts of A's solution and add 1 part of blood, mix and store in 4°C refrigerator for 5 days.
