1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical regulations for the operation of bacteriological examination of paratuberculosis. This standard applies to the detection of tuberculosis in cattle, sheep and deer.

2 reagents and materials

3 sample collection and processing

3.1 Sample collection 3.1.1 Latex The normal milk is collected within 14 days to 25 days after delivery. When taking the milk sample, the nipple is first scrubbed and disinfected 3 times to 4 times with a 75% alcohol cotton swab. After the first few colostrums, approximately.200 mL of the milk sample was collected in a sterile container. Sampling should be completed within 15 minutes. 3.1.2 Feces Choose feces mixed with mucus, blood, mucous membranes or use a curette to take a small amount of mucus feces from the deep rectum (about 30cm) of the animal.
