1 Scope

This standard specifies the identification method of the fruit fly. This standard applies to the identification of the fruit of the host plant (see Appendix A) and its fruit.

2 Principle

The victim fruit (sometimes with the victim seed) spreads over long distances, and the eggs can also spread with the fruit, and the cofferdam can follow the fruit's packaging or host. The soil attached to the plant is spread. The morphological characteristics, host plants, transmission pathways and biological characteristics of B. citrifolia provide a basis for the development of identification methods.
