In-situ ship cargo tank disinfection procedures
1 Scope
This standard stipulates the requirements, methods, procedures, results judgment and disposal of cargo tank disinfection of entry and exit vessels.
This standard applies to the disinfection of cargo holds in and out of ships.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
2.1
Kill or eliminate pathogenic microorganisms and make them harmless.
2.2
Disinfect the cargo hold suspected of being contaminated by pathogenic microorganisms or other harmful microorganisms.
2.3
After the source of pollution has been removed, the cargo hold is thoroughly disinfected to completely eliminate pathogenic microorganisms left in the cargo hold.
2.4
Use a gas or smoke of a disinfectant to fumigate in a confined space for disinfection purposes.
3 requirements
3.1 No pathogenic bacteria should be detected on the surface of the cargo hold.
3.2 The percentage reduction of natural bacteria should be greater than 80%.
3.3 Disinfectants qualified by experts accredited by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine should be used.
3.4 Avoid harm to the health of any person, avoid any damage to the cabin, and avoid the risk of fire and explosion.
4 methods
According to different contaminated objects, one of the following disinfection methods can be selected.
--- by the intestinal infectious disease pathogens, should choose spraying, wiping, spraying methods;
