3 Disease Overview
Bovine viral diarrhea (bovineviraldiarrhea, BVD) is a bovine viral diarrhea virus (bovineviraldiarrheavirus,
BVDV) causes one kind of diarrhea as the clinical features of infectious diseases that can lead to sustained pregnant cow abortion, stillbirth, teratogenic or newborn calves
Infection, which is highly contagious, but mild symptoms and disease, incidence and mortality is low. Mucosal disease (MucosalDisease, MD) also
BVDV is a caused by the bovine type of acute oral, gastrointestinal mucosal inflammation, erosions, ulcers characterized by infectious diseases. It and bovine virus
Diarrhea is caused by the same pathogen, but the performance of different clinical symptoms, the incidence of animal mouth, especially along the gingival margin erosion can also occur tears
And a lot of salivation. Infectious disease is not high, clinical symptoms, low incidence and high mortality. Pathogen, epidemiology, symptoms, onset
Mechanism and pathological changes, diagnosis and quarantine, see Appendix A.
