1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determination of export beeswax hydrocarbon content.
This standard applies to the determination of export beeswax hydrocarbons. Measurement range. 14% to 40% (by mass).

3 Method summary
Sample was dissolved in petroleum ether, purified by silica gel column. Beeswax esters, acids and other polar substances were adsorbed on silica gel to separate the non-polar carbon

4 Reagents
4.1 silica gel. chromatography using 100 to 200 mesh. Before using the activation 5h ~ 6h at 125 ℃ oven, placed in a desiccator removed.
4.2 petroleum ether. AR. Boiling range 30 ℃ ~ 60 ℃ (redistilled).
Warning petroleum ether is flammable and explosive materials, the entire operation need to be carried out in a fume hood.

5 Equipment
5.1 Analysis of balance. a sense of the amount of 0.0001g.
5.2 temperature water bath. temperature of 100 ℃ ± 2 ℃.
5.3 thermostatic oven. temperature of 125 ℃ ± 3 ℃.
5.4 dryer. equipped with color gel.
5.5 Column. length 30cm ~ 40cm, inner diameter of 2cm, with pistons and grinding mouth sand core.
