Summary
This standard specifies the method for the determination of oil and petroleum products in the sulfur content by x-ray fluorescence spectrometry. This standard applies to the determination of petroleum and petroleum products in the sulfur content, the concentration range of 0. 010% -5% (m/m), this standard does not apply to the determination of lead in the sample plus sulfur content. Further, silicon, phosphorous, calcium, potassium, and halogen, if the concentration in the sample than a few hundred milligrams per kilogram, will cause interference, the allowable concentration of interferents, refer to the instructions for use.
