Summary This standard specifies the terms and definitions of natural exposure test of photovoltaic modules to dry hot sand and dust atmospheric environment, exposure test site and test equipment, specimens, test procedures, inspection and maintenance, test results, annual attenuation rate performance evaluation and test report requirements. This standard is applicable to the outdoor natural exposure test of ground-mounted photovoltaic modules in a dry and hot sandy and dusty atmosphere, and is used to evaluate the electrical performance attenuation characteristics of photovoltaic modules in this environment. This standard is applicable to the comparison of the performance of different photovoltaic module products in the same exposure test site. This standard applies to ground crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and ground thin film photovoltaic modules (cadmium telluride, amorphous silicon, copper indium gallium selenide, etc.).
