Summary This standard specifies test methods for evaluating the mechanical durability, packaging and transportation of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays and modules, taking into account, wherever possible, the environmental test methods specified in IEC 60068. This standard is a unified preferred test method determined to evaluate the mechanical durability performance of OLED display devices. This standard stipulates two types of mechanical tests: one is related to the product usage environment; the other is related to the packaging and transportation environment. Vibration, impact, static strength, four-point bending and peel strength tests are suitable for product use environments, while vibration, impact, and transportation drop tests are suitable for packaging and transportation environments. In addition, mechanical testing can also be specified according to application categories, such as mobile phones, laptop computers, monitors and large-format TVs.
