Summary This standard specifies the use of high-resolution NMR spectrometer aromatic hydrogen content in oil aromatic carbon content approach. N samples include kerosene, heavy distillate oil, mineral oil, lubricating oil, coal derived liquids and other completely soluble at room temperature in chloroform fractions. For pulsed Fourier transform spectrometer, the detection limit is usually 0. 1% (mole fraction) of the aromatic carbon atoms. Of the continuous wave spectrometer, it is only suitable for measuring aromatic hydrogen atom, the detection limit is relatively high, generally 0. 5% (mole fraction) of the aromatic hydrogen atoms.
