Summary
This standard specifies the tube furnace, tower vessel, horizontal vessel, vertical leg type equipment, spherical tanks, air coolers and overhead pipes (hereinafter referred to as " petrochemical equipment ") of the basic requirements for seismic qualification, earthquakes effect calculations, seismic qualification requirements and checking methods. This standard applies to seismic fortification intensity is 6 degrees to 9 degrees in the areas of petrochemical enterprises of petrochemical equipment in service for seismic qualification. This standard does not apply to seismic intensity area greater than 9 degrees above equipment.
