Foreword
This standard is based on IEC 60335-2-6 "Safety standing electric cooktops, cooktops, ovens and similar appliances for household and similar electrical appliances"
Special Requirements 5.2 (2008-03) and IEC 60335-2-9 "Safety Grills, Bread Slices and Classes for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances"
The special requirements for portable cooking appliances like the use of the 5.2 version (2006-03) drafting, the main technical content is consistent with the main technical differences
as follows.
1) The scope of application has been modified in Chapter 1, thereby removing the technical content of the non-applicable appliances in Chapters 2 through 32.
2) The applicable product examples have been modified in Chapter 1.
3) Added the inapplicability of Note 103 in Chapter 1.
4) 3.1.9 The normal operation of the steam oven was redefined, and the initial temperature of the water was manually modified.
5) 3.102 adds the definition of a combined steam oven.
6) 3.103 adds the definition of the cavity.
7) 3.104 added the definition of the shelf.
8) 3.105 adds the definition of the door interlock.

1 Scope
This chapter in GB 4706.1-2005 is replaced by the following.
This standard applies to the safety requirements of household steam ovens with rated voltage not exceeding 250V.
This standard applies to combined steam ovens. See Appendix A for specific requirements.
This standard also applies to the case where the combined steam oven can work alone in a barbecue or convection mode, which is considered an oven when operating in this mode.
Note 101. Examples of appliances within the scope of this standard are shown in Figure 101.
The general hazards associated with the various appliances covered by this standard are likely to be encountered by all personnel in the residential and residential environment.
