This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces QC/T 531-2001 "Automobile Rearview Mirror". Compared with QC/T 531-2001, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes,
In addition, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Deleted the terms and definitions of surveillance mirror, plane mirror, convex mirror, and variable reflectivity rearview mirror (see 3.1.3, 3.2,
3.3, 3.4);
b) The general requirements have been changed (see 4.1, 4.1 of the.2001 edition);
c) The temperature cycling resistance performance and test method have been changed (see 4.2.4 and 5.2.4, see 4.2.6 and 5.6 of the.2001 edition);

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB 15084-2022 and the following apply.

mirror
An indirect vision device that obtains vision through a reflective surface.
Note. Complex optical systems such as periscopes are not included.
