When the analysis results are expressed in mass fraction, the average relative molecular mass of the anionic surfactant is known or measured in advance. This standard does not apply to the determination of the presence of cationic surfactants. Note 1: Urea, ethylenediaminetetraacetate and sodium carboxymethylcellulose do not interfere.
