Summary
This standard specifies the method for assessing the integrity of nuclear pressure equipment served with defects, including linear elastic fracture assessment, elastic-plastic fracture assessment, plasticity failure assessment and Fatigue Crack Growth Assessment. This standard applies to pressurized water reactors in service integrity assessment of nuclear safety defects in steel with a pressure device. Integrity assessment of nuclear safety 2 and 3 can be referred to the use of pressure equipment. For non- service inspection prior to repair defects found by the consent of the owners and the relevant departments can be assessed by reference to the standard. This standard does not apply to the assessment of nuclear pressure equipment pumps and valves, as well as quality control standards and acceptance of new build nuclear pressure equipment.
