3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
The volume of hydrogen sulfide stored per unit mass of coal under standard conditions.
3.2
Under standard conditions, the volume of hydrogen sulfide desorbed from the coal sample loaded into the coal sample tank after sampling.
3.3
Under standard conditions, the volume of hydrogen sulfide lost due to escape from the start of sampling to the sealing of the coal sample tank.
3.4
The volume of hydrogen sulfide remaining after natural desorption of hydrogen sulfide in coal samples under standard conditions.
3.5
Sampling time
The actual time taken for the coal sample to be peeled off from the bottom of the hole and then loaded into the coal sample tank and begin desorption measurement.
