Summary This standard specifies the single wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (MWDXRF) determination of gasoline, diesel fuel sulfur content test methods. This standard applies to the determination of single-phase gasoline, diesel and oil refineries for blending gasoline, diesel oil in the different fractions of the total sulfur content. The precision of this standard is obtained by 1. 1 and 1. 2 as described in a representative liquid sample in a number of laboratory studies to determine. Determination of sulfur content in the range of 2mg/kg ~ 500mg/kg. The combined standard measurement limit (PLOQ) is estimated to be 4mg/kg. Note: Due to the analysis of volatile components in the light, having a high volatility such as high vapor pressure of the sample gas or lighter hydrocarbons may not meet the above precision. 1. 2 If the standard sample matrix matches the sample matrix, or a matrix in Appendix A correction is applied in the analysis result, the oxygen-containing compound added to gasoline samples of this standard can also be used. Consistent matrix and matrix correction of interference even listed in the discussion section (see Chapter 5). 1. 3 after dilution with a suitable solvent, the sulfur content of petrol and diesel than 500mg/kg can also use the standard analysis (see 5. 2). This standard does not examine the sample after dilution determination of sulfur in precision and bias, perhaps, and listed in the undiluted sample results are not the same (see Chapter 15). 1. 4 When the elemental composition of the sample used to create a calibration curve with standard samples significantly different elements, they should comply with Chapter 5 of the notes and recommendations, otherwise the results will be affected by interference. 1. 5 standard adopts the International System of Units (SI) units. 1. 6 Standard relates to certain hazardous materials, operations
