1 Scope
This document stipulates the technical requirements for the preservation of major economic forest products, including harvesting, pretreatment, precooling, packaging, storage, transportation, and information traceability.
This document applies to fresh fruits (apples, pears, peaches, grapes, citrus, fresh dates, apricots, lychees, longans, kiwis) and dried fruits (board
It can be used to preserve the main economic forest products such as chestnuts, walnuts, and dried dates. Other economic forest products can be used for reference.

4 Harvest

5 Preprocessing
5.1 Classification
The fruits are graded according to the corresponding economic forest product grade requirements, and the moldy, insect-infested, air-dried, cracked and deformed fruits are eliminated, and impurities are removed.
5.2 Pretreatment of fresh fruit products
It is advisable to operate in a cool and ventilated place or a special pretreatment workshop.
5.3 Pretreatment of dried fruit products
5.3.1 After walnuts are harvested and peeled, they should be air-dried or oven-dried to a moisture content of ≤8%.
