This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces LY/T 1850-2009 "Guidelines for Specificity, Consistency and Stability Testing of New Plant Varieties" and
Compared with LY/T 1850-2009, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Deleted the two terms and definitions of "main color of bracts" and "marbled bracts" (see 3.2 and 3.4 of the.2009 edition);
--- Added symbols and abbreviations (see Chapter 4);
--- Changed the number and type of test materials (see 5.2, 5.3, 4.1.2, 4.1.3 of the.2009 edition);
--- The test conditions have been changed (see 6.3, 4.2.3 of the.2009 edition);
--- Changed the variety grouping (see 8.1, 8.2, 6.1, 6.2 of the.2009 edition);
--- Added trait expression status and code, observation method, observation period, technical questionnaire (see 9.4, 9.6, 9.7, Chapter 10);
--- Added three traits. "stem. number of upper branches", "leaves. wrinkled surface" and "cup-shaped flowers. number of glands" (see Appendix A);
--- Deleted two traits, “leaf leaf. hairy on leaf surface” and “leaf leaf. hairy on leaf back” (see Appendix A of the.2009 edition);

--- Changed the explanation of the property table, changed the line diagram to a color diagram, and increased the number of diagrams from 9 to 20 (see Appendix B, A.2 of the.2009 edition);
--- Changed the technical questionnaire (see Appendix C, Appendix B of the.2009 edition).

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 19557.1 and the following apply to this document.

bract
All leaves attached to the axis of the inflorescence.
3.2
transitionalleaf
Leaves grown at the bottom of the bracts that change color along with the bracts.

Cyathium
The inflorescence consists of a female flower in the middle and multiple male flowers around it, growing in a cup-shaped involucre.
