This standard is equivalent to ISO 19472.2006 "Foreign Machinery Vehicle Winch Cap Size, Performance and Safety Requirements".
ISO 19472.2006 replaces ISO 4254-4.1990 (already equivalent to conversion to GB 10395.4-2006), ISO 6816.1984
And ISO 6687.1994 (already equivalent to conversion to LY/T 1289-2006).
This standard replaces LY/T 1289-2006 "Performance Requirements for Forestry Machinery Winch Machine" and LY/T 1521- from the date of promulgation

1 Scope
This standard specifies the dimensions, performance and safety requirements of winches installed on self-propelled forestry machinery.
This standard applies to fixed and detachable installation on self-propelled forestry machinery (such as skidders and forwarders as defined in GB/T 19365).
Winch and its parts. It is also suitable for winches installed in agricultural machinery for forestry skidding operations.
This standard does not apply to the installation of the ropeway loader, the pole loader, the ropeway skidding system and the loading and unloading bridge for lifting operations
