This standard replaces JY 163-1984 "Technical Conditions for Brain Anatomy Models". In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
-Appearance size has increased allowable tolerances;
-Added the requirement that the main parts of the model should be affixed with name or number tags;
-Specifies the materials that should and should not be used for the model;
-Specify the limit of heavy metal content in the paint of the model.
Please note that some elements of this standard may involve patents. The issuer of this standard is not responsible for identifying these patents.
This standard was proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Teaching Instruments (SAC/TC125).
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Teaching Instruments (SAC/TC125).
The main drafters of this standard are. Zhejiang Educational Technology Center, Ministry of Education Teaching Instrument Research Institute, Wenzhou Wuxing Industrial Co., Ltd.

4.2.1.2 Make a mid-sagittal section of the brain, and make a horizontal section of the left hemisphere through the lateral groove to the occipital section, and retain the complete brainstem shape.
4.2.1.3 shows the corpus callosum in the middle of the brain and the island leaves recessed inside the lateral groove.
4.2.1.4 The morphological structure, position, size ratio, adjacency, etc. of each part shall be corrected with reference to normal human brain specimens so as to make them close.
The structure is accurate and the outline is clear.
4.2.1.5 The overall color shall be true and natural, and the cortex and medulla shall be distinguished by different colors.
4.2.2 Specific requirements
4.2.2.1 On the sagittal section of the middle of the brain, structures such as anterior commissure, transparent septum, and fornix should be displayed, and the interior of the corpus callosum cross section should not be displayed
structure.
4.2.2.2 The direction of the transverse grooves on the surface of the cerebellum and the cerebellar cortex and medulla of the mid-sagittal section of the cerebellum should be correct and clear.
4.2.2.3 The mesencephalon should show the hypothalamus sulcus of the dorsal thalamus and the adhesion between the thalamus; the terminal striae of the left dorsal thalamus;
Nodules, funnels, and nipple bodies.
4.2.2.4 The brainstem should show a pair of superior and inferior colliculi on the back of the midbrain; transverse fibers on the ventral side of the pontine;
Anterior median fissure, lateral sulcus, cone, cone-crossing, and olive on the ventral side.
4.2.2.5 On the median sagittal section of the brainstem, the midbrain water duct, the fourth ventricle, and the central medulla oblongata should be shown.
4.2.2.6 The location and shape of the twelve pairs of nerve roots in and out of the brain should be accurate.
4.2.2.7 The pineal gland should be oval in shape and connected to the third ventricle apex.
4.2.2.8 The following parts of the model should be labeled with name or number. brain, cerebellum, medulla, pontine, hypothalamus, corpus callosum, transparent septum, olfactory bulb,
Optic nerve, oculomotor nerve, pulley nerve, trigeminal nerve, abductor nerve, facial nerve, vestibular nerve, glossopharyngeal nerve, vagus nerve, paragrine
Meridian, hypoglossal nerve.
4.3 Materials and processes
4.3.1 The model should be made of hard or soft-hard PVC material. Glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) or fragile should not be used.
And deformable materials.
4.3.2 The content of heavy metals in the coating of the model shall conform to GB 5.2.5.4 of GB 21746-2008.
4.3.3 The joints shall be modified naturally and correctly. Bonding and splicing should be firm.
