Introduction
JJF1002 "Rules for the Preparation of National Metrology Verification Procedures", JJF1001 "General Metrology Terms and Definitions",
JJF1059.1 "Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement" together constitute the basic series supporting the revision of this regulation.
specification.
This regulation refers to GB 3847-2018 "Emission limits and measurement methods for pollutants from diesel vehicles (free acceleration method and
Loading deceleration method) and GB 36886-2018 "Exhaust smoke density limits and measurement methods for non-road diesel mobile machinery"
Revise JJG 976-2010.Compared with JJG 976-2010, the main changes, in addition to editorial revisions, are as follows.
--- Added introduction;
--- Modified the term "standard optical channel effective length opacity" (see 3.5);
--- Modified the calculation formula of the opacity of the effective length of the standard optical channel (see 3.5);
--- Added the term "inconsistency" (see 3.7);
--- Modified the indication range of the effective length of the standard optical channel opacity and light absorption coefficient (see 5.1 and
5.2);
---Change the indication error requirement of absorption ratio to the indication error requirement of effective length opacity of standard optical channel
(see 5.1);
--- Modified the technical requirements for flue gas temperature indication error and oil temperature indication error (see 5.4 and 5.5);
--- Added general technical requirements (see Chapter 6);
--- Neutral filter changed to. neutral filter with transmittance of about 0.86, 0.78 and 0.50 (see 7.2.1.1);
--- "Digital time interval measuring instrument" in the standard instrument is changed to "response time measuring instrument" (see 7.2.3);
--- "Constant temperature oil tank" in the standard device is changed to "dry body furnace or constant temperature oil tank" (see 7.2.5);
--- Modified the verification method of instrument drift (see 7.4.2.2);
--- Modified the calculation formula of the indication error of the opacity of the effective length of the standard optical channel (see 7.4.2.3);
--- Modified the calculation formula for the inconsistency of the indication of the light absorption coefficient k (see 7.4.3.2).
The previous versions of this regulation are as follows.
---JJG 976-2010;
---JJG 976-2002.
Verification procedures for transmission smoke meters
1 Scope
This procedure applies to the initial calibration, subsequent calibration and in-use inspection of split-flow transmission smoke meters.
2 References
This specification refers to the following documents.

For any referenced document with a date, only the version with the date is applicable to this Regulation; for any referenced document without a date,
The latest version (including all amendments) shall apply to this regulation.
3 Terminology and units of measurement
3.1 Transmittance
In the spectral range of 400nm~760nm, the light emitted from the light source, the transmitted light flux and the incident light flux
Calculate according to formula (1).
τ =
Φ0
(1)
Where.
τ --- transmittance, 1;
Φ --- transmitted luminous flux, lm;
Φ0 ---Incident luminous flux, lm.
3.2 Absorption ratio
In the spectral range of 400nm~760nm, the absorbed light flux (the ratio of the incident light flux to the transmitted light flux)
The ratio of the incident luminous flux to the incident luminous flux. Calculated according to formula (2).
N=
Φ0-Φ
Φ0 =
1-τ (2)
Where.
N---absorption ratio, 1.
The length of the dark channel filled with smoke that the light from the light source passes through to reach the smoke meter light receiver. The unit is m.
Indicated by L.
The effective length of the optical channel is specified to be 0.430m, denoted by Ls.
pathlength
To ensure comparability between the measurement results of different smoke meters, convert the effective optical channel length to the standard optical channel length.
