3 Overview
Photoelectric range finder is a length meter widely used in engineering measurement, topographic measurement, cadastral measurement and geodetic survey.
Device.
The photoelectric range finder is classified into short-range, medium-range and long-range according to the measurement range. The range is less than 3km for short-range range finder.
3km to 15km is a medium-range range finder, and the range is greater than 15km to 60km for long-range range finder.
According to the factory standard deviation of the range finder, it is calculated to the standard deviation of the range of 1km, which is divided into three levels (see Table 1).
Table 1 Accuracy classification of range finder
level of accuracy
Ranging standard deviation
Medium and short range rangefinder long range range finder
I md ≤ (1 D) mm md ≤ (5 D) mm
II (1 D) mm \u003cmd≤ (3 2D)mm
III (3 2D) mm \u003cmd≤ (5 5D)mm
IV (external level) md > (5 5D)mm
Note. D is the measurement distance in km.
The factory standard deviation of the range finder is expressed as
Md=a bD
Where. a---the nominal standard deviation fixed part, mm;
B---nominal standard deviation ratio coefficient, mm/km;
