Mercury barometer verification procedure
1 Scope
This procedure is applicable to the first verification, subsequent verification and making of the working tank mercury barometer and the fixed tank mercury barometer.
Use the test.
2 Overview
Mercury barometer is a meter used to measure atmospheric pressure. Its basic working principle is to use a good vacuum.
The atmospheric pressure is measured by the height of the mercury column when the gravity of the mercury column in the glass tube is balanced with the pressure of the outside atmosphere.
The basic structure of the mercury barometer is mainly composed of a glass tube (also called an inner tube) filled with mercury, and the nozzle is inserted downward.
Corresponding in the mercury tank. According to the structural characteristics, it can be divided into a moving tank mercury barometer (hereinafter referred to as a moving groove table) and a fixed groove.
Mercury barometer (hereinafter referred to as the slot table).
The structure of the moving groove table is characterized in that the volume of the mercury tank can be changed, and there is one above the mercury tank surface for measuring mercury.
A fixed zero point indicator for the height of the column. According to its measurement range, it can be divided into plateau movement table (measurement range is generally 540hPa~
1050hPa) and ordinary moving groove table (measurement range is generally 810hPa~1070hPa).
The structure of the fixed trough table is characterized by the fixed volume of the mercury trough, which has no fixed zero point index. The measurement range is generally
810hPa~1070hPa.
3 Metrological performance requirements
3.1 Dynamic table
The indication value correction value obtained by the moving groove indicating value comparison test shall not exceed ±0.4hPa. After initial verification or subsequent verification
After the test is passed and passed, the maximum allowable error after correction is ±0.4hPa during use.
3.2 fixed slot table
When the fixed slot table gives only one indication correction value in the whole measurement range, the indication value correction obtained by the comparison comparison test
The value should not exceed ±0.3hPa; when the measurement range is segmentally corrected, it is obtained after the scale indication value verification and the indication value comparison verification.
The segmentation correction value shall not exceed ±0.7hPa over the entire measurement range, and the correction value shall be changed every 100hPa.
The amount should not exceed 0.4hPa. After the first verification or subsequent verification or in-use inspection and pass, during the use, the indication
The maximum allowable error after correction is ±0.5hPa.
4 General technical requirements
4.1 Appearance
4.1.1 The reading window before and after the outer casing should be parallel, the width of the upper and lower sides and the width of the two windows should be the same, the center line of the two windows and the outside
The tube axes should be in the same plane. The observation surface of the glass casing protecting the main scale on the outer casing shall not be affected.
Defects in readings.
4.1.2 The main ruler is engraved on the right side of the outer casing reading window. The engraved lines and numbers should be clear and the color should be firm. Every 5 and 10
The engraved lines should be lengthened and all engraved lines should be engraved to the edge of the reading window and perpendicular to it.
