Introduction

JJF1002 "Rules for the Preparation of National Metrology Verification Procedures", JJF1001 "General Metrology Terms and Definitions", JJF1059.1 "Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement" together constitute the basic series of specifications for the revision of this regulation. This regulation is a revision of JJG 1028-2007 "X-ray Radiation Source Positioning for Radiotherapy Simulation". Compared with JJG 1028-2007, in addition to editorial revisions, the main technical content of this regulation has changed as follows. --- Added the definitions of image receiver, focus-image receiver distance and field of view; --- Added the requirements for X-ray tube voltage and related content; --- Added low contrast resolution requirements and related content; --- Increased spatial resolution requirements for flat panel detectors; --- Deleted the requirements for electrical machinery and protective performance; --- Added the half-value layer measurement method of radiation output quality and related content. 1 Scope

This procedure applies to the initial inspection of the X-ray radiation source used for radiotherapy simulation positioning before or during radiotherapy. The working voltage of the high voltage generator shall not exceed 400kV. This practice does not apply to X-ray radiation sources that use computed tomography (CT) simulation positioning technology.

3 Terminology and units of measurement
