Introduction
JJF 1071-2010 "Rules for the Preparation of National Measurement and Calibration Specifications", JJF 1001-2011 "General Measurement Terms and
Definition” and JJF 1059.1-2012 “Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement” together constitute the basis for the revision of this specification.
A series of basic specifications.
This specification mainly refers to GB 18285-2018 "Gasoline vehicle pollutant emission limits and measurement methods (dual idle method)
GB 3847-2018 "Emission limits and measurement methods for pollutants from diesel vehicles (free acceleration method and simplified working condition method)"
Compared with the JJF 1375-2012 version, in addition to editorial revisions, the main changes are as follows.
--- In the "Introduction", the following is deleted. "This specification mainly refers to JJG (Automobile) 04-1995 "Special Specifications for Gasoline Engines"
Tachometer》 and JJG (Automobile) 05-1995 “Technical requirements for tachometer for diesel engine”.
--- In the "Scope", the following is added. "Other non-road mobile diesel machinery engine speed measuring instruments can refer to this regulation
Model implementation".
--- In "Reference Documents", "JJG124-2005 Ammeter, Voltmeter, Power Meter and Resistor" was deleted.
The referenced document was modified to GB 3847-2018 "Emission Limits and Measurement Methods of Pollutants from Diesel Vehicles (Free Addition)"
Speed method and loaded deceleration method) and GB 18285-2018 "Gasoline vehicle pollutant emission limits and measurement methods (dual idle speed method and loaded deceleration method)"
Method and Simple Working Condition Method)”.
--- In "Terms and Units of Measurement", the definition of "3.1 Pulse-to-speed ratio" was modified, and the definition of "3.2
Needle Swing Amount".
---In "Overview", the classification of speed measuring instruments was adjusted and the "Speed measuring instruments can be classified according to display mode" was deleted.
There are two types. pointer-type tachometers and digital display tachometers".
--- In "Measuring Characteristics", the measuring range and indication error specified according to the measuring range were adjusted, and the pointer type was deleted.
The requirements for speed measuring instruments have been expanded to include the "resolution of the display device" requirement and the "linearity error of the output voltage" requirement has been deleted.
Poor" requirement.
---In "Calibration Conditions", the equipment name was modified, and the calibration device was added to the measurement standard and other equipment.
Resolution, deleted "DC digital voltmeter".
--- In "Calibration items and calibration methods", "Calibration of pointer swing of pointer-type speed measuring instrument" was deleted.
Added "calibration of the resolution of the speed measuring instrument display device" and added when the speed measurement point is ≤1000r/min
The calculation formula for the indication error of each calibration point and the calculation formula for the repeatability of each calibration point of the speed measuring instrument have been modified.
--- Deleted "Appendix B Example of Calculation Method for Linear Error of Output Voltage of Speed Measuring Instrument".
Previous versions of this specification are as follows.
---JJF 1375-2012.
Specification for calibration of motor vehicle engine speed measuring instruments
1 Scope
This specification applies to the calibration of various measuring instruments for the speed of spark-ignition engines and compression-ignition engines of motor vehicles.
The engine speed measuring instrument for road mobile diesel machinery can also be calibrated according to this specification.
2 References
This specification references the following documents.
GB 3847-2018 Diesel vehicle pollutant emission limits and measurement methods (free acceleration method and loaded deceleration method)
GB 18285-2018 Gasoline vehicle pollutant emission limits and measurement methods (dual idle method and simple operating condition method)
For any referenced document with a date, only the version with the date is applicable to this specification; for any referenced document without a date,
The latest version (including all amendments) shall apply to this specification.
3 Terminology
Pulse speed ratio pulsespeedratio
The ratio of the number of pulses P to the number of engine speeds R is P/R when the engine has different strokes and cylinder numbers.
Note.
1 For spark-ignition engines, the pulse number refers to the number of ignition pulses; for compression-ignition engines, the pulse number refers to the number of high-pressure fuel injections.
2 The pulse-speed ratios of engines with different strokes and numbers of cylinders are given in Appendix A.
3 The pulse-to-speed ratio is a dimensionless quantity.
4 Overview
The motor vehicle engine speed measuring instrument (hereinafter referred to as the speed measuring instrument) is used to measure the speed of the spark ignition engine of the motor vehicle.
It is an instrument for measuring the speed of engines and compression ignition engines. It consists of sensors, signal processing systems, display devices, etc.
According to the measurement principle, the speed measuring instrument can be divided into the following categories.
---Ignition pulse induction speed measuring instrument, which uses the ignition pulse of the ignition coil of the induction ignition engine to measure the ignition speed of the engine.
Frequency measures the engine speed of a motor vehicle.
---Vibration and sound wave induction type (high pressure injection pulse induction type) speed measuring instrument, which senses the engine
Vibration (including vibration caused by high-pressure fuel injection in compression ignition engines) and sound wave frequency measure engine speed.
---On-board battery electric pulse speed measuring instrument, which senses the battery voltage when the motor vehicle engine is running
The pulsation frequency of the current or the pulsation frequency of the vehicle battery voltage caused by the ignition of the induction ignition engine (cigarette lighter type)
Rate measures engine speed.
