Foreword
This standard replaces JG 138-2001 "Point-supported glass curtain wall support device".
The main changes in this standard compared with JG 138-2001 are as follows.
--- The standard name was changed to "Building Glass Point Support Device", which expanded the scope of application of the point support device;
---Re-classify and mark the joints and claws, and add the clip-type joints and glass fixture products;
--- Partially modified the appearance, structure, processing requirements and other relevant provisions of the joints and claws;
--- Re-defined the mechanical performance requirements and test methods of the point support device;
--- Added standard appendix.
Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D and Appendix E of this standard are informative annexes; Appendix F, Appendix G, Appendix H, Appendix I, Appendix
Record J, Appendix K, Appendix L, and Appendix M are normative appendices.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, naming and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and production of architectural glass point support devices.
Product mark, product certificate, product instruction manual, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard is applicable to glass-supporting devices for buildings such as point-supporting glass curtain walls, lighting roofs, awnings and guardrails.
