Summary This standard specifies the low voltage motor reactive power compensation device in place of terms and definitions, conditions of use, design, construction and safety requirements, quality requirements and testing, marking, transportation and installation and operation guidelines and so on. This standard applies to frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, nominal voltage of 1 kV and below the AC power distribution system, used in parallel with the motor to compensate for the resulting motor inductive reactive improve the power factor of the in situ reactive compensation device (hereinafter referred to as " device").
