Summary
This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for nickel - nickel alloy electroplating layers with nickel content (mass fraction) of 5% to 10% (low nickel) and 10% to 17% (high nickel) on steel. This standard applies to the automotive, aerospace, weapons and other products zero (part) of the zinc-nickel alloy plating layer. This standard does not apply to: - parts with a tensile strength greater than 1200 MPa or a Vickers hardness greater than 370 HV; - fasteners (bolts, nuts, etc.) of a quality rating greater than 10.9; - parts in contact with the magnesium material.
