1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, methods and calculations for energy consumption testing of low temperature multi-effect distillation and reverse osmosis desalination plants.
This standard applies to the energy consumption test of low-temperature multi-effect distillation and reverse osmosis seawater desalination unit, and energy consumption of other types of seawater desalination units.
The test can be used as reference.

The general term for the system that constitutes the entire desalination production process and equipment unit.
